Possessor is the third studio album from L.A. horror-metal cult Rusty Eye—originally released June 6, 2009 on their own Epoché Records. A twisted blend of thrash, prog, and grindhouse sleaze, this LP plays like a lost Euro-horror soundtrack with a pulse.

Loaded with killer collaborations: horror legend Claudio Simonetti (Goblin) brings eerie synths to “Mondo Cane” and “Wings of a Demon,” producer Waldemar Sorychta (Grip Inc., Tiamat) lends his touch to “Somnambulist Possession” and “Mandragora Screams,” and Circus of Power’s Alex Mitchell snarls his way through “The Serial Kind.”

Topped off with cover art by Joe Petagno (Motörhead, Pink Floyd), Possessor is a full-frontal assault of riffs, blood, and B-movie madness.
