We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Disciplinary Records. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

Return Eligibility

We offer a 30-day return window on most items. To qualify for a return, your item must:

  • Be in its original packaging
  • Be in the same condition as when you received it
  • Include proof of purchase

Items that show signs of wear, damage, or use may not be eligible for a refund.

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please use our contact page. Include your order number and a brief explanation of the reason for return.

Once we confirm your return eligibility, we’ll provide instructions for sending the item back. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.

Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 30 days of delivery using our contact page. Include your order number and a description—or photo—of the issue. If a replacement is available, we will send one; otherwise, we’ll issue a refund. Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.

Factory sealed vinyl records are shipped exactly as received from distributors and are not opened prior to shipment. Because of this, seam splits or minor jacket wear may occasionally occur during transit.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of your refund status. Refunds typically process within 5–10 business days after approval.

Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Items marked as “Final Sale”
  • Gift cards (we do not currently offer gift cards, but we’re working on it)

Additional Notes

Some orders may include items that ship from different fulfillment locations. For example, vinyl records and action figures may be shipped separately and may incur additional shipping charges.

We also carry unofficial vinyl releases, clearly labeled as “Unofficial” on the product page. These items are sourced from reputable sellers but are not sanctioned by the artists or record labels.
