Originally released in nineteen ninety-five, Primus' Tales From The Punchbowl is one of the band’s most surreal and sonically adventurous records. Packed with elastic bass lines, off-kilter grooves, and Claypool’s unmistakable storytelling, the album balances absurdity with serious musicianship.

The breakout single “Wynona’s Big Brown Beaver” became one of Primus’ most recognizable tracks, while cuts like “Southbound Pachyderm,” “Over The Electric Grapevine,” and “Mrs. Blaileen” showcase the trio’s tight interplay and twisted sense of melody. The album flows like a strange carnival menu, divided into parts that move from funk-driven chaos to moody, textured atmospheres.

This two thousand eighteen US reissue is pressed on 180 gram vinyl across two LPs, remastered and presented with an insert containing artwork and credits. It marks the first official vinyl release of the album since its original nineteen ninety-five pressing.
