Originally released in nineteen seventy-two, Scorpions' Lonesome Crow marked the band’s ambitious debut and captured their early fusion of hard rock, progressive rock, and krautrock influences. Recorded at Star Studio Hamburg and produced by legendary German producer Conny Plank, the album showcases a young band experimenting with expansive songwriting and psychedelic textures.

The record features early performances from Klaus Meine on vocals alongside Rudolf Schenker and Michael Schenker on guitars, delivering standout tracks such as “I’m Goin’ Mad,” “In Search Of The Peace Of Mind,” and the thirteen-minute title track “Lonesome Crow.” These recordings reveal the roots of the band’s later arena rock success while highlighting the experimental spirit of the early seventies German rock scene.

This special edition presents a new stereo mix created in twenty twenty-five from the original multitrack recordings and pressed on collectible transparent vinyl. Housed in a gatefold sleeve and released to celebrate sixty years of Scorpions, the album offers a refreshed look at the band’s historic debut.
