Sigh's Eastern Darkness collects the earliest recordings from the legendary Japanese avantgarde black metal pioneers. Formed in the late nineteen eighties by Mirai Kawashima, Satoshi Fujinami, and Kazuki Ozeki, the band quickly developed a reputation for blending raw black metal with experimental and psychedelic elements.

This compilation gathers material from the band’s formative years, including the Desolation demo, the Tragedies demo, the Requiem For Fools EP, and a rare track from the Far East Gate In Inferno compilation. These recordings capture Sigh before the release of their classic debut Scorn Defeat, documenting the early evolution of one of Japan’s most influential extreme metal bands.
