ZZ Top’s ZZ Top’s First Album introduced the band’s gritty blend of Texas blues and boogie rock, laying the foundation for a career that would span decades. Originally released in 1971, the album captures the raw early sound of the trio, driven by Billy Gibbons’ blues guitar, Dusty Hill’s bass grooves, and Frank Beard’s laid-back swing. This 2024 Rhino High Fidelity reissue is cut from the original analog master tapes and presented as a premium, limited edition pressing. Initially sold directly from Rhino's online store and later marketed as part of Rhino's Start Your Ear Off Right 2025 collection January 3rd 2025 sold by brick and mortar record stores.
